Abrasion resistant lining pipeline
Abrasion resistant pipeline lined with AWPE uses equal diameter compression technology to line the standard pipe inwall with AWPE lining pipe, making the lining pipe fit in the pipe inwall, to form special composite pipe with features of anti-wear, anti-corrosion, optimization of the force of rod tubes, and energy saving.
AWPE is a kind of alloy material with high-molecular polymer as the matrix, with high abrasion resistance, impact resistance, excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, good self-lubrication, anti-adhesion, excellent chemical stability, etc.
Abrasion resistant pipeline lined with AWPE can significantly reduce the abrasion between the sucker rod and the pipe inwall, and improve abrasion resistance of the rod and the pipe, and corrosion resistance inside the pipe, greatly reducing downhole accidents, prolonging pump inspection period and use life of pipelines and sucker rods.
As a new engineering plastics alloy, AWPE embodies a variety of excellent performances. Pipelines lined with AWPE have the following characteristics:
◆ high abrasion resistance: The self-friction coefficient is 0.1, only 30% of steel, and abrasion resistance is 4 times higher than that of nylon 66 and Teflon, 7 times higher than that of carbon steel, greatly reducing coefficient of friction between the sucker rod and the pipe, to be the most effective way to prevent the eccentric wear.
◆ Anti- corrosion: The chemical stability is very high, higher than HDPE in lS0/TRl0358, able to be resistant to various corrosive medium and organic medium within a certain range of temperature and concentration.
◆ Strong anti- adhesion: AWPE surface energy is very low, difficult to scale, able to inhibit wax precipitation.
◆ AWPE lining pipe has good flexibility and memory characteristics, able to adapt to the deformation due to changes in temperature and pipeline load.
◆ AWPE lining pipe is extruded and shaped by the high temperature and high pressure units, using a special process to entirely line the pipe. No local spalling, fracture phenomena, without any soluble matter, no pollution to
ground, without causing damage to the pump and valve, or to the lining during oil operation or cable operation.
Scope of application
◆Sucker-rod pump wells: Suitable for wells with serious eccentric wear, corrosion, wax precipitation of the rod and the pipe; particularly suitable for horizontal wells, directional wells, and wells with large azimuth deviation, not correct wellbore, and high failure rate of the rod and the pipe.
◆ Lining within old pipes whose remaining wall thickness is not less than 50% of the original wall thickness, can continue to be used.
◆ Injection wells: Suitable for injection wells with serious scale formation and corrosion.
◆ Corrosive gas wells: Suitable for wells containing H2S and CO₂.
◆ Offshore oil and gas wells and onshore prolific wells: Greatly extend life of the sucker rod and pipe column; reduce loss of suspended production; decrease overall maintenance costs.
◆ Improve the efficiency of artificial lift systems, able to be used for saving electricity.
◆ The flat and thicken pipes with various diameters and lengths can be used to make lining pipes.
