Multi-functional traction machine is used for long distance engineering construction (over 2,000m). The hydraulic control technology enables machine rise and lower automatically. With the help of advanced automatic wire-aligning system and integral hydraulic control, the machine can automatically show value of traction force and align wire. The functions of speed changing, gear-shifting and braking are fully controlled by hydraulics which save labor and prevent from potential safety hazards.
Real-time monitoring on traction force is conducted during traction to ensure that traction force won’t exceed 50% of yield strength for HDPE pipe materials. The corresponding automatic wire-aligning system prevent potential safety problems during traction. The engine used are manufactured by global well-known brand which ensure high-quality work can be done even for high temperature desert areas.
The HDPE liner whose outer diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the main pipeline is compressed into a double-layer U-shape through a special U-shaped diameter reduction device, so that the liner section is reduced by about 40%. Quickly insert the main pipe under the action of traction. After the liner is in place, pressure is used to open the lumen to restore it to a round shape, which is attached to the inner wall of the outer pipe to form a composite pipe.
Highly Effective Blasting and Cleaning:
The main body of machine can crawl and move inside pipeline by remote wireless control. There is a single button used to control blasting and cleaning. Location orientation camera is used to find welding joints and locate problem areas. There are two sets of high speed rotary steel wire brush can be used for forward direction and backward direction. Joint coating machine reciprocates forward and backward slowly to ensure that the foreign matter and rust within 80mm (adjustable) of welding joints are cleaned. The internal surface after cleaning meet requirements of ST3 level of GB/T8923—1998 standard.
Internal Joint Coating Function:
Once the blasting and cleaning work is done, remote wireless controlled machine can locate corresponding welding joints and stop right at the location, and then the material supply pump and rotary spraying cup are initiated to conduct reciprocating spray coating work. The atomized coating materials are then sprayed to ranges within 100mm of welding joints. Spraying work is done repeatedly four times to ensure thickness of anticorrosion coating layer. The width of spraying is adjustable between 180 to 200mm.
The thickness measuring function and recording function of camera
Camera system with taking pictures and recording videos functions are installed on pipeline internal anticorrosion inspection machine. This system is able to rotate 360°along pipeline radial direction. After welding joints blasting, cleaning and coating are finished, this system can be used to inspect if blasting work is done properly and if there is any area omitted for coating. The thickness measuring instrument carried by the system can test thickness of coating and show results on remote wireless control panel.
